In 1998, Kenji came to Australia for working holiday and joined blues/rock band as a bass player in Sydney and spent most of time in music.

Kenji started his career as a massage therapist in 2007 in Japan. He learned Sei tai(a form of therapeutic japanese massage) techniques from Master Senkichi Suzuki in Fukushima.

In 2011, Kenji's family moved to Perth and he studied in diploma of remedial massage at Challenger Institute of Technology in Fremantle. Throughout 1 and a half year course he obtained new techniques such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release and manual lymphatic drainage.

Over the years he has continued to develop an interest in the gentle approach to treat acute and complex pain disorders and also stress-related problems such as depression, digestive problems and chronic Fatigue.

Main technique Kenji uses in his treatment is Sotai Ho which is a Japanese form of movement therapy developed by Dr. Keizo Hashimoto(1897-1993).

In his treatment you need to quiet the mind and listen to the body carefully in order to experience peaceful and comfortable feeling along with gentle joint movement, like moving Zen.

Also, Kenji is into macrobiotics and a big believer that food is our best medicine and poor diet and lifestyle choices contribute to many health problems.

During his spare time Kenji loves walking with his dog, and playing with his 3 kids, and tending the veggie patch in the back yard.
